John Wetteland pitched in the Major Leagues for twelve seasons and was a three time All-Star. Wetteland closed out the 1996 World Series against the Atlanta Braves for the New York Yankees. Throughout his career Wetteland totaled 330 saves and pitched to a 2.93 Earned Run Average. In the 1996 World Series against the Atlanta Braves he was named M.V.P. as he saved all four Yankees wins.
