Jean-Paul Parise played for a number of different teams in his NHL career but the bulk of his career was played with the Minnesota North Stars. In total Parise played 890 games in the NHL scoring 238 goals and 356 assists for 594 points. His best season statistically was the 1972-73 season when he scored 27 goals and 75 points. Parise was also an important member of the early New York Islanders teams in the mid 1970s and he is warmly remembered by many Islander fans for scoring the goal 11 seconds into overtime to defeat their cross-town rivals the New York Rangers in game three of the best of three opening playoff series following the 1974-75 campaign. Jean-Paul Parise has hand signed this 16x20 photo of him shaking hands with the Rangers after eliminating them from the playoffs. Parise has also written the inscription 41175 - GWG and Jeep. A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
