Digger Phelps Notre Dame Sideline 16x20 Photo

Digger Phelps was the head basketball coach at the University of Notre Dame for 20 seasons. Phelps recorded a 393-197 record with 14 seasons with 20 or more wins. He is one of only two coaches to record 7 or more upsets over a 1 ranked team. The most impressive was in 1974 when he beat UCLA to end their 88-game winning streak.
